Jo Taranto & Corina Seeto

Waste Warriors

Jo and Corina are neighbours and accidental campaigners inspired by ABC’s War on Waste. In a short time, they have helped transform communities through their social enterprise, Good For The Hood. Their War on Waste Action Toolkit is the go to resource for any average Jo (or Corina) who wants to do good in their own ‘hood. When the ladies aren’t knee deep in bins (or running some pretty fab workshops), they have young boys to chase around. If they aren’t bribing their kids to clean up the streets, with straw free milkshakes, they also like to drink unhealthy amounts of coffee (in reusable cups of course).

Why Jo & Corina are Planet Ark Ambassadors

"We are all about connecting communities through the opportunities resource recovery create. We focus on simple, fun and local actions individuals (and organisations) can take, to make a difference. That’s why we love Planet Ark, they make doing positive things easier, for all of us."
