Planet Ark proudly endorses Alliance Paper’s Rollo Wrap product as a safe, environmentally responsible and renewable paper-based packaging solution.
Rollo Wrap is free of chemicals of concern and is both recyclable (with minimal food and grease contamination) and compostable, making it a superior alternative to single-use plastic packaging and plastic-lined greaseproof paper.
It can be used in a wide range of packaging applications such as pizza box liners, deli wrapping and for bakery items. It can also be used for non-food packaging, such as bags and protective wrapping.
Planet Ark is selective when choosing products to endorse. Before we endorse any product, we do the hard yards to determine its environmental impact. This process involves rigorous research, analyses, supply chain review and more.
Rollo Wrap’s coating is a safer alternative to the chemicals that are commonly used in plastic-lined food paper products, such as PFAS (per and polyfluoroalkyl substances), which may have adverse health impacts.
Rollo Wrap provides a unique, high-quality solution for packaging applications and can include the following benefits:
- oil and grease resistance
- wet strength
- high strength properties
- printability with food safe inks
- heat resistance (up to 220°C)
- tasteless and odourless
- FSC certified
Where can I buy Rollo Wrap?

Alliance Paper partnership
Planet Ark has partnered with Alliance Paper and endorsed Rollo Wrap to encourage Australian businesses and schools to transition away from paper products that contain chemicals that are potentially harmful to the environment and our health. The partnership is based on The Precautionary Principle, which states that:
"When an activity raises threats of harm to human health or the environment, precautionary measures should be taken even if some cause and effect relationships are not fully established scientifically."
Alliance Paper are open to partner with packaging companies that are looking to manufacture a safer alternative to single-use plastic packaging for their customers.
